This policy explains how myHR Sàrl uses cookies and similar technologies on the myHR.lu website and its subdomains.

It complements our Privacy Policy and informs you about the purposes of these technologies, how long they are used, and the choices available to you.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies may be used, in particular, to ensure the operation of a website, remember certain choices, measure its audience or analyse how it is used.

We also use similar technologies that allow us to analyse the use of our website. In this policy, the term “cookies” collectively refers to these different technologies.

2. Which cookies and tracking technologies do we use?

2.1. Strictly necessary cookies

Certain cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of the website or for managing your cookie preferences. They are not used for advertising or audience measurement purposes.

Because they are strictly necessary, their use does not require your consent.

2.2. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and better understand how the website is used, including the pages visited, the origin of visits and interactions with the website.

We have enabled IP address anonymisation in order to limit the collection of personal data. Audience measurement data is retained for 14 months.

Google Analytics is only activated after obtaining your consent. This processing is based on your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

2.3. Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms against automated submissions, abuse and fraudulent activities.

reCAPTCHA analyses certain technical information and signals relating to your device, the application and the use of the service in order to assess the risk associated with an interaction.

reCAPTCHA is only activated after obtaining your consent. If you refuse its activation, you will not be able to submit forms protected by this service. You may, however, contact us directly by email at support@myhr.lu.

2.4. Crazy Egg

We use Crazy Egg to better understand how visitors use certain pages of our website, including through heatmaps (Snapshots) and session recordings (Recordings).

Data used for Snapshots is aggregated and anonymised, and visitors' IP addresses are not retained. In session recordings, characters entered by visitors into form fields are masked.

Crazy Egg is only activated after obtaining your consent.

3. Your consent

On your first visit, our cookie management tool allows you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies and tracking technologies.

Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA and Crazy Egg are only activated after obtaining your consent.

Refusing non-essential cookies does not prevent you from browsing the website. However, refusing Google reCAPTCHA prevents you from submitting forms protected by this service. In that case, you may contact us directly at support@myhr.lu.

4. How can you change or withdraw your consent?

You may change your choices or withdraw your consent at any time using our cookie management tool available on the website.

The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

5. International transfers

The use of certain Google and Crazy Egg services may result in data being transferred to or accessed from countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States.

Such transfers are governed in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR, including on the basis of an applicable adequacy decision or, where necessary, appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.

For the relevant Google Cloud services, including reCAPTCHA, Google provides mechanisms in its Cloud Data Processing Addendum to govern international data transfers in accordance with the GDPR.

Crazy Egg states that it makes available to its clients a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement (DPA) as well as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses intended to govern, where applicable, international data transfers.

6. Further information

For more information about how we process your personal data, the recipients of that data, its retention and your rights, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. Contact

If you have any questions about the use of cookies or the processing of your personal data, you may contact us at dpo@myhr.lu.

8. Changes to this policy

We may amend this policy to reflect changes to our website, the services we use or applicable legislation.

The date of the latest update is displayed at the top of this page.

This document is available in several languages. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Want to manage your cookies?
